Phones that tap use NFC. Any other phone scans the printed QR code.

90 days or your money back

If your Google review count hasn’t gone up in 90 days, we refund your order.

How it works

From checkout to review in seconds

1

Put it where they pay

Set a stand by the register, or hand a card over with the bill, the keys or the invoice.

2

They tap or scan

Your Google review form opens on their phone. No app, no searching, no MeritTap page in between.

3

Reviews show up

They pick a rating, write a line and post. It appears on your Google listing for the next person who searches.

Why it works

Six reasons a card beats asking for reviews yourself

Nobody has to ask

Most staff hate asking for a review, so they don’t. The card on the counter does it for every customer.

It never forgets

Busy shift, new hire, long line: it’s still there. Nothing to remember, charge or plug in.

Straight to the form

Not your website, not a search page. The tap opens the “write a review” form for your business.

It catches them at the right moment

Right after the haircut, the meal or the repair is when people are glad to say so. Later, they forget.

Yours to change

Point any card at a different business or link anytime, and see how many taps each one gets.

90DAYS

More reviews or your money back

If your review count doesn’t go up, you don’t pay.

Use it for 90 days. If your Google review count hasn’t gone up, we refund your order. All we ask is that your card or stand was set up. Your review count is public on Google, so there’s nothing to argue about.

What buyers complain about

Built around what goes wrong with other review cards

Before making ours, we read the buyer reviews of a best-selling tap-to-review stand on Amazon. These complaints kept coming up. Here is how MeritTap handles each one.

A website before the review form

Some buyers said customers landed on the seller’s own site before Google, which looks suspicious and loses people. MeritTap sends them straight to your Google review form.

A code already registered to another business

Every MeritTap card ships with its own activation code. Nobody can claim it without that code, and after setup only you can change it.

Tapping that doesn’t work on some phones

Phone cases and NFC settings can stop a tap from reading. That’s why every card also carries a QR code any phone camera can scan, and the tap guide shows where on each phone to tap.

Playing by the rules

Made to follow Google’s review policy

Asking for reviews is fine. Google prohibits incentives, asking only happy customers, pressuring people on the premises, and setting review quotas for staff. MeritTap opens the same review form for everyone, and the customer decides what to write.

Questions

Frequently asked

How does a Google review card work?
Each MeritTap card has an NFC chip and a printed QR code. A customer taps the card with their phone (or scans the code with the camera) and your Google review form opens. No app is needed.
Does it work with iPhone and Android?
Yes. Recent iPhones and most Android phones read NFC without an app; on Android, NFC has to be switched on in settings, which it usually is. Any phone can scan the QR code on the card instead.
Where do customers tap?
On iPhone, near the top edge of the phone. On most Android phones, the middle of the back. Thick or metal phone cases can block NFC; the QR code always works.
How does the 90-day guarantee work?
Use it for 90 days. If your Google review count hasn’t gone up, we refund your order. All we ask is that your card or stand was set up. Call or email us and we’ll check your public Google review count.
How much do they cost?
One card or stand is $30. The price per piece drops as you buy more, down to $15 a card and $15 a stand. Packs make it easy to put one at every register and give a few to staff.
When am I charged?
When you check out, through Meritly’s secure Shopify checkout.
How do I set it up?
Tap or scan the card yourself. The setup page opens: enter the activation code that came with it, search for your business, and add your email. It takes about a minute.
